Depends on your skin. Any handmade soap (which contains natural gylcerine) would be more beneficial than the store brand detergents out there--most are less drying and will cause less peeling. I would look for one specifically made for your type of skin --if you're oily look for a soap with clay--preferrably french green or rhassoul. Avoid clay soaps if you're prone to dry patches.

What works for one, may not work for another. Glycerin soap is good for keeping skin moisturized. Glycerin attracts moisture from the air and you will find that using it will not dry out your skin too much like some of the acne products out there.

My son has found that no soap works best for him.
He breaks out if he washes his face with soap. He does shower daily and wash his hair. He says he washes his face with a hot, wet wash cloth, then pats it dry. face is clearing up.
