Why does it matter if we believe in the biblical flood? Because we are living in the last days, similar to times when Noah was alive, read Matt 24:37-39, "For just as the day of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark;and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.", people now are doing these things as well which are all fine to do, but they're not taking note that they're living in the last days, of which Jesus gave us signs to look for in Matt 24:3-14. So the flood is something to learn from, not that we're going to have another flood like it ever again. Jehovah promised we won't with the sign of the rainbow. We need to take note that we're in the last days & take action to get on the spirtual ark. So we can be aligned with the true religion & avoid destruction, just as Noah & his family got on the physical ark to be saved from destruction.
Also God used the flood to destroy wicked world of that day, although the demons escaped by dematerializing back into spirit creatures. Their their offspring & wicked humans perished in the flood. The demons cant materialize anymore, but can still create havoc along w/Satan as shown in Rev 12:9 &12 which say, "So down the great dragon was hurled the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth, he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him" & "On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time." Satan's angels are demons, former angels, that turned away from Truth. Since they know they will eventually be destroyed forever, they want everyone else to be destroyed along with them. So if they cant live forever, they dont want anyone else to either.
So these scriptures show one reason why we see all the badness taking place on the earth today.
Also Jehovah didn't create demons, they became that way when they rebelled against Jehovah of their own free will. Same thing with people, when they have babies, they dont create murderers, liars or sex offenders, etc., but some become that way later on in life of their own free will.

contained in the biblical cases of Noah, the "entire international" consisted of a few hundred mile radius. So it may desire to ok have been a close-by flood. If it exchange into no longer a close-by flood, how do you clarify land species on the different fringe of the earth from the place the ark exchange into unlikely extinct. The Sumerians wrote a pair of super flood led to by employing a rogue planet passing between the earth and moon pausing the rotation of the earth besides as writing approximately all the planets in our photograph voltaic gadget a solid 5 thousand years only before Galileo discovering them. They declare that an alien race got here down from the sky and informed them those issues yet even their account shows that no longer each and every of the earth exchange into lined in water. additionally, there is no such element as macro or micro evolution, only billions of possible insignificant infant steps that make up evolution. those words have been made up by employing the non secular to enable them to cherry %. evolution.

The Noah's Flood story was written at a time when the "entire known world" wasn't very big. They didn't know most of Asia, North and South America, Europe, Australia, and even most of Africa even existed. There WAS a flood because there ARE floods, but there isn't enough water in the entire world to submerge Mount Everest. In 2000 years there might be evidence of the Katrina disaster - we have video these days, which didn't exist at the time of Noah's Flood.

Because the Bible tells us that the earth will be destroyed just as it was in the days of Noah--wouldn't it be nice to have the facts so you could be one of the people in the ark rather than trying to tread water for over a year???
PS. The demons are alive and well and living among us--look around and see. Soon God will deal with them in the best way possible for all men and angels to benefit from it.

Because most christians believe the bible to be perfect...the word of god, with no inaccuracies. They have to believe in the flood as written or that means the story is a lie. And if that story is a lie, then the rest of the book probably is too. So they cling to a concept so ridiculous it cannot possibly be true. Note: Don't freak, I did say "most", not "all" christians.

Because it affect us in our day!The Bible said;
Matthew 24:37-39"For as the day of Noah were, so the son of man(Jesus) will be.For as they were on those day before the flood, eating and drinking(Party) men marrying and woman being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.And they took no note until the flood come and swept them all away,So the presence of the son of man(Jesus Christ) will be."
So, it really affect us!
What did the people do, back then, in the time of Noah? When Noah is telling them about the flood coming, no one ever listen to him, they think that he is crazy, telling all those thing. And now a day JWs preaching about the good news of the kingdom, about the true God Jehovah, and His Day the ARMAGEDDON,Zephaniah 2:2,3-"seek Jehovah all you meek ones,..and probably you will concealed in the day of Jehovah's anger."2 Thessalonians 1:8,9.
Matthew 24:42"keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know in what day your lord is coming."

It matters because Jesus quotes from Genesis and says that it is holy writ. If it is false, then Jesus Christ is not really God. And God doesn't work according to our logic. According to the Scriptures, demons still exist today, so God didn't kill them with the flood. They're spiritual beings, so physical force does nothing to them.

The flood doesn't just demonstrate the wrath of God; it shows His mercy as well. He gave a warning, and means of escape. In fact, He delayed judgment 120 years while Noah preached without a single convert. In the end, it was just His family. God could have wiped them all out without sending a warning - after all, how could they have stopped Him?
As for not creating demons in the first place, you should remember that God created spirits and endowed them with free will. Whether He knew that they would sin or not is irrelevant and is in the realm of things that the knowlege of mere mankind does not and should not reach. It is part of what is fundamentally wrong with us in trying to require God to justify everything He does. We ought to trust Him instead.

You can't just believe 'parts' of the Bible. You either believe it, or you don't. There are just different ways that we as humans interpret it. And about the demon thing, if God wants to 'kill' demons, He can do it without a flood. He can do it however he wants, whenever he wants!

Subjectively speaking, God's insatiable appetite for entertainment seems to know no creative limits. He seems to do whatever strikes his fancy. He's 'unreasonable'.
Nothing He does would surprise me anymore. But keeping those promises he made...now there's the real question...
Objectively speaking, He has definately eased up on me since 2000, the year I was baptized. I do not seem to get sick anymore...not even hay fever, of which I was most severly affected, all my life.. and blood-pressure down, don't know why...debts clearing up, and not by my own doing...
relationships being restored, offenses forgiven, witnessing (and participating) in visiting His vengeance on my old enemies, newly discovered abilities and talents, old talents increasing without practicing, social skills improving... the list goes on and on...and a definate 'smart-@ss' sense of humor developing...Maybe that's the 'demon', who knows? Who cares?
