I had braces (several years ago) and so did my boyfriend. We heard about people getting their braces locked and stupidly tried to do it. After about an hour of trying, we managed it, but we were able to undo it fairly easily with my mom's help, and a lecture. I seriously recommend you don't do this. We never got locked again during the normal course of kissing. As for cuts, it can happen, but it's not a problem if you kiss gently and slowly. It won't wreck you love life.

Back in the day when I had braces, I did cut the lip of my boyfriend at the time. You can buy wax to put on the braces and I recommend doing it before you get lip locking. I've never seen anyone get hooked on anyone else when 2 people had braces. Just be careful of what you're doing and you'll be fine.

I had braces when I was a teenager and yes you can get locked together when kissing someone with braces if you have them too. Yes you can also cut someones lip when kissing.

You just have to be careful and gentle when kissing with braces. If you have anything sharp sticking out of your braces you can cut someones lips if you kiss them, so just be careful.

don't worry bout it when i first got my braces on i was very worried about the whole kissing thing as i was not used to having them on my teeth
so the first thing i done was kiss a guy with braces also
it all went well your braces will not lock together at all
and yes you still can french kiss lolz
you can do everything as you done before it doesn't effect you at all

You kiss with your lips, not your braces. I can't see them locking together.
