I decided to buy a can of iced tea (good host) to help me consume more water but it said that there's 10% of iced tea in every 250 ml. How much is too much caffeine ? How much caffeine is too much for a preg person ?

I would do a search for Homemade Lemon Iced tea-that way it's healthier for you , not as much sugar added* as for how much caffeine is good when preggers*.....that question your doctor can answer. I'm sure a couple of glasses of iced tea a day is fine* as long as you're not drinking coffee, and hot tea etc.....ontop of the iced tea.~ :) Best wishes*

My wife (I'm born and raised in So. Calif.) was raised in Alabama and they drink Ice Tea morning noon and night.Home made of course.Eight tea bags to a half gallon of hot water let steep for 1/2 hour or so.Discard bags and add sugar to taste and ice to your tumbler. They like it a lot.My wife was pregnant with four kids and never stopped drinking it.My kids are raised on it and the two oldest have never had a cavity( 30 and 27)One's a teacher one 's a classical guitarist(the other two are still in school so the jury is still out!).So ,I guess it 's all right.I'm still a coffee drinker.I have ice tea once a year.Give me coffee ,milk or Pepsi!

You've had too much when you float away in your tea pee. Sorry, my Grampa used to say that all the time. Your doc should advise you on caffeine consumption. It has a great deal to do with your body size and some other factors such as prevalence of bladder problems before your pregnancy. That's what you pay him/her for anyway! Best wishes!

i admire iced tea over iced coffee anyday, with my primary type of iced tea being from 'Nestea'. My primary flavours are the peach and the mango and eco-friendly tea. this does not say i do on no account like eating iced coffee, besides the incontrovertible fact that it must be made the way i like it :). 3/4 capability, small quantity of cream and with a small shot of vanilla in it to tone down the coffee flavour. Iced mochas besides the incontrovertible fact that are much greater advantageous!

so many wrong answers here...actually...tea has a higher concentration of caffeine than coffee...
Caffeine does stress out a fetus...the fetus's metabolism is what the mom's metabolism is...my advice...drink de-caff tea...cold tea on a hot day is the stuff, cannot give that up :)

There is no caffeine in tea so I don't think that will be a problem. As for the question you can never have too much ice tea in my opinion, cause it just happens to be the best drink in the world (my opinion of course)

You'd be better off drinking hot tea. It has less sugar and you'll sip it more slowly and thus absorb less caffeine at a time.

You'd have to eat the whole can in one sitting for it to be a problem. You'll be fine; drink as much as you like.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT...YOUR BODY WILL EXPEL ANY 'EXTRA' CAFFIENE. THE ONLY THING YOU MIGHT WORRY ABOUT IS STAINING YOUR TEETH FROM TOO MUCH TEA.
