Poland is were my grandparent are form I was going to get a flag with it saying Dad on it

My daughter, in remembrance of her grandmother and grandfather did the following. Grandma wore a cross so she had it scanned and grandpa grew orchids. She had the tattoo artist place the scanned cross in the center of her tattoo with two orchids on either side of the cross. She wanted something that was specific that reminded her of them.
I would think if your father collected anything, or if you played special games with him (like cards or dice), if he played an instrument, was in the military, or whatever, use that symbol to remind you of how happy he made you feel.

If your parents are from Poland, it would be better to incorperate the flags colors (white on top, red on bottom) into the heart & just put "Daddy's little girl" around the top instead (do the heart exactly like a flag waving in the wind).

I like rocky's idea. I was thinking the same thing. Do the heart outline with the polish flag colors inside it to look like the flag. I really like your idea of doing just the outline too. Good luck.

My condolences on your loss, even though it was several years ago...do you know his anscestry? The only reason I ask is my dad passed a couple of months ago; he's Irish and I've considered getting a small 4-leaf clover with his birth date on it...just a thought. God bless you!

Get a SMALL heart just saying dad inside.
Don't get a huge one. Don't go for loads of colours. And don't do it in a really noticable place

i like it ...and if you want to then do it, if not then maybe wait till you feel ready, but i like it and i would get the tattoo if my dad died, and even if hes still alive i'd still get a tattoo just to sho that i love him and i won't ever forget him.....but its ur body do what you want with it....where do you plan to get it?

i have 4 tattoos in memory of my dad. i got the harley davidson shield with stuff in it, and above it, do something your dad was interested in, or something that reminds you of him, you'll never regret it
