You can lose weight by jogging, walking, running for 1 hour or 2 (or less than that), eat three times a day but the right kind of food like fruits and veggies. Avoid eating junk foods and drinking soft drinks.

this is what i had been following for a couple of years and i have lost about 40lbs and im in the best shape ever (even though my leg has been in a cast for the past 6 months)
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

try weight watchers!!! my dad lost 60 pounds by that!!! he did weight watchers and bike for an hour a day! weight watchers lets you eat anything whenever you want but you have to make sure to stay in the points range they give you...what is your weight?? i have a book on how many points you should take in and you can say 2 points=100 calories

What has worked for me is a routine of 20 minutes of stretching, 20 minutes of isometrics, and 20 minutes of aerobics, minimum four times per week. Plus a good diet.

give up dairy, processed foods, foods with high fructose corn syrup, MSG's, and hydrodgenated oils... cheerleading helped me stay in shape ... we had to stretch, run stairs, do push ups, crunches, lift people, and do gymnastics every day... cardio helps reduce fat.... lifting weights and pilates tone....
