platinum hurts? trashy?

when you get your hair died platinum blonde? does it hurt/sting? also im wondering...does it look trashy?

No, bleaching your hair and using a platinum toner does not hurt. You will have an allergy test a day or two before your hairdresser does your bleach. If it doesn't show an allergy, then there will be no pain.
As to looking trashy, it's up to how you do it. If you look trashy over-all, your hair will be part of that look. If you look classy, so will your hair. It's not the color that creates the look, but the person wearing it.

Ok. I got my hair streaked platinum blonde, and it didn't hurt a bit. But I don't know anything about dying it. And NO, it doesn't look trashy! It looks great! Especially when you get thick highlights, about 1/2 inch apart(7 of them). I think its one of the best things I've ever done to my hair.

Im not sure if it burns or stings but it doesnt look trashy. alot of chicks look good with platinum hair.

If you have real pale skin it dosen't look trashy if you take care if it. Otherwise, yeah, it kind of does.
I haven't heard if it hurts, but I do know that if you bleach your hair, it DOES bleach it for a long time, so only do it if you think your hair is healthy enough to have it done, or you are sure you want to do it.

I know a lot of men aren't attracted to platinum blonde's and especially if they have dark roots growing in. I've heard it burns the scalp also.

It doesn't hurt, but it's going to damage your hair and make it dry and brittle. And it only looks trashy if you make it look trashy (like if you have dark roots).

yes, it makes you look trashy. platinum isn't a natural color. it's too fake looking to me. it takes alot of hours to get your hair to that color and it is very damaging to your hair as well. i wouldn't do it, but good luck to you.
