Symptoms of Ulcer
There may be no symptoms of ulcers or the individual may experience:
* A gnawing or burning pain in the abdomen between the breastbone and the navel. The pain is usually worse a couple of hours after a meal or in the middle of the night when the stomach is empty.
* Nausea
* Vomiting
* Loss of appetite
* Loss of weight
* Tiredness (a symptom of a bleeding ulcer)
* Weakness (a symptom of a bleeding ulcer)
* Blood in vomit or stool. When blood is in the stool, it appears tarry or black (symptom of a bleeding ulcer)
You may actually have this instead...
IBS
Celiac Disease
Chrons
Fibromyalgia
Hypoglycemia***** this may be you because when I was younger I would eat spicy food and get so sick I would hypervenilate and have to go to the hospital because I thought I was dying. The mexican food we ate at would make me sick and my doctor told me I was Hypoglycemic,
I am not telling you this to scare you but I am trying to figure out myself what is wrong with me and I have been suffering more and more as I have gotten older. My thought is that I need a colonic and then I need to stick with all natural foods but you really need to research all of the above. Go to the doctor but get several if you can. I can't go because I don't have insurance. Be healthy and Good Luck ;~)

The most accurate test is an endoscopy. Ulcers of various severity are visible when they send a camera down your throat to take a look.
I have had gastric issues for years now and it took an endoscopy for the gastro doc to be positive there was no ulcer.
It's too easy to misinterpret one's symptoms when it comes to heartburn/reflux/ulcer so you have to see a doctor.

an ulcer is a really serious thing - you can vomit blood.
what you might have is gastritis.
