Without God there would be no hope.
Without God there would be no security.
Without God mankind would prey on one another without any thought of remorse.
Without God mankind would be nothing more than self animals seeking physical gratification.
God is the glue that keeps the world from destroying itself.
God is love.

without God there is nothing. God is everything and made everything. God is everywhere. i am a strong believer.
and to those who think that God is a load of 'crap', have you ever given religion a chance? like really had your mind open to it? i think you should give it a shot ;)

I dont agree with or believe any of your statements at all.. Humans are just animals like every other animal on this planet, all those things you mention exist independent of a concept of god in my opinion. Love has nothing to do with any god/s it is a social adaptation to living in groups. Obviously god is not the glue that keeps the world from destroying itself as the world is not the problem humanity is, and as we speak humanity is destroying this world little by little. I dont believe in god and yet I still have hope.. you may say well thats because god exists regardless of my disbelief but I think otherwise. You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine.. from where I stand I totally and utterly disagree with everything you said in this question. There are reasons I disagree that I cant even explain... but basically the idea that good only exists because of a god resonates disharmoniously with my very being. You are right, but I believe there are people that can live without God, because they don't have the same necessity for spirituality as others. That doesn't mean they are better or worse than anyone, they are in their level of spirituality. Everyone is spiritually different than the others.

More people have died in the name of God then over any other fantasy! There has been far more brutality because of this God idea then in the name of the Pink Monkey!
To date No One has been killed in the name of the Pink Monkey!
This God is not glue keeping things together. This God is a delusion that is tearing this world appart! How many innocent children must suffer in the hands of those that follow this God?
Besides all that this God believes in torture of those that do not follow the correct religion! Since when is torture the sign of a loving person? By your standard do you think Hitler was showing his great loving nature?

If you hadn't noticed, with all your religious superiority, you are just like animals seeking physical gratification because YOU are the ones who see nothing to life without your god. Atheists do NOT.
YOU are the ones that would go on a psychotic killing spree without your god. There has never been a known Atheist serial killer in the history of the world. Guess what... most of them are Christians.
