i own a 2005 stx regular cab f 150 i really want to put some performance parts on it and i dont wanna spend more than 1200 dollars

must be out of warrentee to add anything. look up blue chip its an advance computer chip. added to your modual. the modual on stock vehicles restricts the vehicle performance by 45% also depends on where you live take out the restrictive plate also called Cadilitic converter and throw it as far as you can. it is unlawful for a mechanic in a garage to tamper with this product. but in your own garage who new.

There are the usual, like NOS, chips, cold air intake, low restriction muffler. So that's the things you should be looking at, good luck.
