LOL, I'm an agnostic, but I have had a very personal experience with born again Christianity. I used to be one. My parents brought me up in these churches, and many times you don't just go to one, you visit many, in some cases. No, we ate lots of meat. My dad was into meat, mostly hamburger. It didn't matter. Mom was the veggie and snacker, I don't think she was a meat eater as much as dad but I don't think it made a difference. It does weaken you but they did fast (go without all foods) at times. My pop went without for several days, some people went without water as well. Still, as a christian, I did this too but I don't think that is what did it too me.
It's how they teach. They teach that you are a worm (a biblical verse) They teach on hell fire, the lake of fire and the end of the world. They teach about sin and it makes you feel like you can't be perfect. They actually make you feel like everyone outside of the church is evil and wicked and out to get you. They teach that we are at war with the devil and that we must be ready for attack. People fear to question those beliefs because of the idea of hell. They are mean to each other in these churches, gossiping, telling the pastor on each other. Etc...
Not everyone will consider this the same as I do but this is what I experienced while I was involved with them.

Christian churches do not have dietary restrictions.
It is very hard to "deprogram" born-again Christians because they freely chose be Christians as adults.
You will have better luck with those born into religion.
Free food is a good idea, then talk to them about making their own choices and trying things before judging them.

My personal goal is to be a 100% alkalarian vegan....Animal protein is not forbidden in the Bible,however......
The Bible says to not judge each other in food or drink...
Did you know that Broccoli is 40% protein? I actually drink Broccoli juice and wheatgrass juice....Man am I whacky...actually there are many good reasons for my doing so....Don't get me started...You will be asleep within a short period of time.

No they think they can be reincarnated or something you cant be born again. I can't stand them always trying to put down my religion because they are so jealous. They claim to be Christian and the first thing you do is attack other churches like if it's there mission.

Just as long as I get a Pepsi too.
I eat meat! Have no clue what you are talking about. Just making things up, I'm assuming!
Call me a cult, a Christian, brainwashed, call me whatever. But when Jesus calls for me just call me gone.
