Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope implies a certain amount of perseverance — i.e., believing that a positive outcome is possible even when there is some evidence to the contrary.
A wish is a hope or desire for something.
Prayer is an active effort to communicate with a deity or spirit either to offer praise, to make a request, seek guidance, confess sins, or simply to express one's thoughts and emotions.

Hope and wishing is the same thing pretty much. Prayer is talking to god and believing that what you ask for he will make it happen.

Biblically,Hope is assurance(not maybe)
Prayer is petition to a personal God.
Wishes are desires that may or may not come to fruition

The difference is when you screw up something big time let's say at your job:
You WISHED you did not make that mistake
You HOPE no one finds out
And when someone finds out, you PRAY that you don't get fired.

Prayer is wanting a better situation, and a single target.
Wishes are wanting a better situation, and making yourself the one in control.

As far as I can tell, There isn't. They all basically mean the same and all 3 can be interchangeable in a sentence.
