Okay you guys are makeing me mad saying my dog is adgreesive. Well my dog is great with other dogs, she is a dog that will take no threat. She will not put a foot out of the yard. She loves to sit in the fornt yard in the shade and sometimes the nabors sheltie comes into my yard and plays with Daisy but she will not go out of the yard. Yet the Chuhaha *little bit* is always off leash and come over to my dog snarling. I have no reason to leash my dog. The dog comes over and attacks her. So she beat the poo out of it. I don't like chis and neither dose my yorkie. What to do?

If you don't like it, put up a fence.. No matter what, you are always going to have inconsiderate neighbours that don't follow the rules.. If you want to keep the bad actors out of your yard, you put up a fence.. Otherwise you will have to deal with bad neighbours who let their dogs run free, off leash, and harass the neighbourhood dogs..

no matter how good your dog is, you must always take in account the fact that the chihuahua will be off leash. If you don't want you dog to be attacked then you must keep your dog out of harms way. Have you tried talking to the Chihuahua's owner? Tell them that their dog is bothering your dog and if they don't contain their dog you will have animal control called.

I think you have to talk to the owner of the other dog, and explain it keeps coming in your yard. Tell them you don't want the dog on your property, and that it's going to get hurt if it keeps coming around. Good luck

It's illegal for your neighbors dog to be off leash off it's own property. They are liable for damages. Talk to your neighbor if they don't want their dog to get killed by another dog, which is terrible. Or report them to animal control if they won't listen. Not all Chi's are like that--many like mine are very sweet with other dogs. Chi's don't know they are little--they think they are big dogs so they tend to be fearless!

"I have no reason to leash my dog." If you were a responsible respectful owner you would leash your dog. Oh and its the LAW! : )
