Whoever you are that asked this question.
It is true most people that are brainwashed which you actually see in many mental institutions (not meant to be offensive) you pick up similarities within the institution. Most christians talk very slow and melancholy and seem airy or light headed happy even if a hurricane is all around them.
The problem is just that delusional people do not want to make their home the earth a better place because they are "saved" they simply do not care!!!
That is delusion and is unacceptable behavior for adults?

Most atheists I have met, seem so narrow minded and believe only what scientists tell them, which is still ok when it changes the following year.
Hows that for a generalization?
I'm sure you and I could have an excellent debate, however, my airy and lightheadedness as I show you your errors, might get in the way ;)

I don't think you are an atheist. Atheists are usually quite thoughtfull, reflective and don't make globalizations such as "most Christians talk very slow . . . airy . . .light-headed, etc."
How bizarre is that. Such observations are not only misguided but delusional and unacceptable behavior for an adults.
Christianity runs the gamut from fundamentalist, bible-thumping judgmental hypocrites like Jerry Fallwell and bum-humping Ted Haggard to some of the "quasi-Christian" non-credal sects.
In between are mainline Christians with centuries of learning, reflection, traditions and experiences that defy picking up "similarities" of the "institution", because there are the experiences of the visible or institutional church and centuries of spiritual experiences that make up "the invisible church" Among those experiences of faith is the fact that our earth was entrusted to us ... and while not an item on everyone's plate . . . concern for the earth has always been part and parcel of the mainline Christian experience.

I beg to differ with you. I know many Christian groups that go out into the community and help. There has been many buses of Christians helping in New Orleans and Florida after the hurricanes. Your provoking people with your insinuation of mental brain washing, delusional and institutional references sparked their reply. You started the name calling and you got back how you treated your neighbor. They did not turn the other cheek however.
Slow speaking is only a sign of careful relay of what is needed to help others in the way they should go and to filter out our desire to say how your not so well worded question was composed.
The behavior you have displayed is like an insecure bully on the play ground. Not adult like behavior either.

Wow, Its pretty clear for a brainwashed Christian to see. We don't even have to be brainwashed to see the truth. And no most Christians do not talk slow, or any of those other things you said. God said that we are on this earth but we are not a part of this earth. Sin has destroyed this earth. And yes we do care about the earth. We still have to live, breath and eat here too. Don't you think we care about our kids? Our families? and friends? And just who do you think you are telling us we have unacceptable behavior. It looks like to me that your the one with the problem. So do something about it, Fix It! Make sure you do it right, start by repenting, start by searching your own heart, instead of telling others whats in theirs. You seek God, and ask for his mercy and grace.

I am a Christian and I want to make the world a better place. I am "saved", but I do care because no man knows when Jesus will come again, so until that time, I want to make sure this world is a decent place for my children to live.
Did you know that if you stretched the DNA in your body out it could go from the earth to the moon and back again over 8,000 times? How would you explain this if not by the hand of God?

You are being delusional and behaving unacceptable for an adult. There is a word for the comments you just made: stereo typing and your not far from profiling. My home the Earth, is very important to me but I'm sure thats not the point you were wanting to make. (not meant to be offensive)

WOW..you call us brainwashed and mentally challenged yet when someone challenges you, you get your panties in a bunch.
Call me what you want. I don't answer to you! I don't mind being called brainwashed. We could all benefit from a good cleaning up there.
And don't pull that WWJD card! Jesus did not walk this Earth as a sissy! Don't make me post scripture!

you obviously do not know any born again Christians. there is a man in my church who is a surgeon who gave up a practice that would make him a lot of money to go to Africa for 4 years to teach surgery to doctors over there. a woman i used to work for was a born again Christian. She is a lawyer and helps many people
