It took me 3 months to find a new job. i found a job as an account executive and I HATE it! I'm not into the work and my boss is a complete Bi+ch! It is an unprofessional environment and it is a joke. I do not want to waste their time and more importantly do not want to waste my time. I have been looking for a new job since the first day I started. I have a few interviews but can't keep taking days off to interview because I am still new at this dreadful job. I truly hate this job. Also, there was another lady who started the same day as me and she QUIT this Friday because she could not take it... Is this a no brainer?

It is generally easier to find a job when you have one already. If you are prepared to be unemployed for another couple months, then maybe you should give your two weeks.

If on the other hand, you are in need of income because of the last jobless period, maybe you should stick with it for a little while longer.

Make the decision in your mind that this is only temporary and let all the BS go. Keep reminding yourself that this is just temporary and start feeling sorry for th people that HAVE to work there. It is amazing how your attitude can change once you make this decision.

Either way, good luck. Be glad that you are in a big city that has many job opportunities.

If you are that unhappy, you are doing yourself an injustice by staying. Yes, I know you may have responsibilities, but you also have a right to live in peace and be prosperous, and from the sound of it, that is not where you are headed. A no-brainer? Of course.

I am also in Atlanta, so there are many things you can do outside of that job to earn income.

Best wishes!
