and they hardly ask any questions at all, so what gives? And don't say they don't need any answers because they have to have stuff they are curious about.

Hi Midge! It's been a while! I am Catholic but I guess I usually just say Christian. Maybe the Catholics just aren't specifying who they are. The only time I know I see Catholics on is when somebody is bashing priests for the mistakes other priests have made.

Catholics have very authoritative sources for information. There aren't many things in life that aren't addressed in Catholic doctrine and priests are well educated in theology and history. Many other religious groups have a more minimalist catechism and don't have the same view of the ministry. Some groups don't really have any requrements to become a preacher at all.

The deal with that is that Catholics don't have the conviction of salvation that Born Agains do. The believe strongly in the final judgment and are not certain what their fate is. On the other hand look at all the smugness that you see from Born Agains here. They speak a different language so there is no communication.

Hi Midge!

The last time I posted a question I got a violation notice. It was a very proper and polite question and still I was cited for a violation. Since then, I have decided not to post anymore questions in R & S. Some people are out to get me I think.

Peace and every blessing!

Catholics are no different then any other Christian religion. If they ask questions they will receive answers. If the answer is not what the priests etc has been telling them it presents mental conflicts. This is what the religions do not want for their members - research and thinking.

Hey Midge. I don't ask a lot of questions, although I have asked some, because my main reason for being here is to counter the lies about Catholicism.

Most of the questions here by non-Catholic Christians are to attack Christ's Church out of hatred. The hatred only goes one way as Catholics hate no one and just pray that we all be one. We were instructed by our Lord to be charitable to others and to love our enemies. I find it easier to love my enemies than the enemies of God and His Church.

Maybe you are not wording your question in a way to get their attention. Just ask.

Catholics, Lutherans, Jews, and Muslims think they know all the answers, but they don't. I and many others do: there is no god, never was, never will be.
