well boltz of lightening is also called the finger of God, and think about this, Jesus gave an example of how different true spirit bodies work after he was resurrected Jesus could appear and disappear at will, God is true Spirit and we just can't imagine how His spirit body would look or work, but just keep in mind that God's body wont be limited like ours. God can do what He wants to do.

God is spiritual being with a glorified body as the angels are a spirit being with a glorified body
that is why they can travel through times, go through doors and walls as Jesus did
written by the finger of God or maybe the fire that came out of his mouth and his being

This is known as an anthropomorphism and is meant to convey a sense of how personally God takes the commandments given to us. If we want to take the position that the references to having a body are literal, then according to Psalm 91:1,2, God also has wings and feathers. You don't think we worship a birdgod, do you?

The same finger that he pointed at Adam and said "here, pull that"
You really shouldn't take things too literally. If you get hung up on these types of questions then you need to make a real quantum leap into higher thought if you want to mature.

God doesn't need a physical body to be God or do the things that the bible says he has done. He talked to Moses through a burning bush. God reveals himself to mankind in numerous ways.

There are bodies terrestial and bodies celestial. Read 1 Corinthians ch 15. He used His finger just like He said. Since we are in His image I would assume it was His index finger.

He doesn't have appendages like we do.
Other scripture say that we are covered under His wings.
Would you call him a bird?
Keep reading....He'll reveal Himself to you!
