That may be a good beginning, but true love is not found in eye contact, it is realized in the bond of souls, of hearts. Love grows with time. The passion and the chemistry, though important, are not the real thing either. The only way to test if it is love is to walk hand in hand through enough experiences, especially those that potentially might tear you apart, and still want to be together.

Love is when you think about that person all the time. When you feel so comfortable with that person, you can be yourself. When you look into their eyes and you feel deep down this strong emotion for them. When you care about them more than words can say. When you can talk about anything with them. And even the silences are comfortable. When even though some people say you dont have love, you feel like its as good as love could get.

Love isn't a feeling!Love is a decision,the feelings won't always be there they will come and go and grow and change.You can love anyone,the bible defines what love is in 2Cor.13.It says love is patient,kind, gentle,thinks the best,forgets the wrong done to it etc.It also says that God(Jesus) is love.
