Years back I made some mistakes. I was mad at G-d. I made a deal with the devil so to speak. I blasphemed against the Holy Ghost. I’ve since repented for my transgressions. I try daily to live a righteous life. I am not even close to perfect. Yet I do try to be a good man. Praising and thanking G-d for everything he’s done for me (the good and the bad). Yet for those who are unfamiliar with eternal sin.

Jesus himself said that there is no forgiveness in this age or the next.

Am I going to hell?

Please this question if for people who can answer with a background and knowledge of what I am speaking of. Personal feelings will not help me.

Blasphemed is only unforgivable sin. Once you did that my understanding is God has turned is back on you.
It don't look real good for you. Maybe you should talk to a preacher tell him your story.
Why in the world would you do that. Life couldn't of been that bad. Wow that just scary :(

A person with such a view, has never seen the light of the Gospel. He is also an unrepentant sinner; and, therefore, not a Christian. Incidentally, asking for forgiveness on an ongoing basis would never work. This is because no one could ever possibly remember each and ever sin committed since salvation. Even the Old Testament law had a provision to take care of that. Periodically, the high priest would make a sacrifice for the sins of the people committed in ignorance. The work of Jesus Christ took care of that problem once and for everyone who is saved.

If you were saved at the time and being led by the Holy Spirit, then for some reason decided to turn against the Holy Spirit and did in fact blasphemed the Holy Spirit, then yes the Bible clearly says that you are going to Hell. The way I understand it is that one cannot blaspheme the Holy Spirit if they have never been led, saved, born again. Because once a believer has been saved and born again they would have no reason to do this. The Bible states that once you have truly been born again that all things are new. Your past no longer matters. You are a new creation in Christ. A new slate, so to speak. You are washed by the blood, therefore cleansing your soul, a new creation in Christ. We are washed by the blood, justified by the faith, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Hope this helps you.

Gotquestions.org says this was a very specific sin.

"This blasphemy has to do with someone accusing Jesus Christ (in person, on earth) of being demon-possessed. There are other ways to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, but this was "THE" blasphemy that was unpardonable. This means that this unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit cannot be duplicated today because Jesus Christ is not on earth but seated at the right Hand of God"

To truly be guilty of Blaspheme one has to know without a doubt that God exists and one must know his mysteries...

Just anyone can't be guilty of the unpardonable sin... you have to have a near perfect knowledge of the truth and turn your back on it. Cursing at God is not the unpardonable sin.

Knowing God and then fighting against him is.

I invite you to ask God in sincere prayer... Go into the woods or a quite clean place and pour your hear out your father in heaven ask him to lead you to the truth... then give it time and don't give up.

Ask and ye shall receive.

If you've accepted Christ as The Son of God and the Redeemer of the world then you probably aren't guilty or it.

"Jesus himself said that there is no forgiveness in this age or the next."

This is where purgatory comes in.

The purification is necessary because, as Scripture teaches, nothing unclean will enter the presence of God in heaven (Rev. 21:27) and, while we may die with our mortal sins forgiven, there can still be many impurities in us, specifically venial sins and the temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven.

When we die, we undergo what is called the particular, or individual, judgment. Scripture says that "it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment" (Heb. 9:27). We are judged instantly and receive our reward, for good or ill. We know at once what our final destiny will be. At the end of time, when Jesus returns, there will come the general judgment to which the Bible refers, for example, in Matthew 25:31-32: "When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." In this general judgment all our sins will be publicly revealed (Luke 12:2–5).
Augustine said, in The City of God, that "temporary punishments are suffered by some in this life only, by others after death, by others both now and then; but all of them before that last and strictest judgment" (21:13). It is between the particular and general judgments, then, that the soul is purified of the remaining consequences of sin: "I tell you, you will never get out till you have paid the very last copper" (Luke 12:59).

. After his death and before his resurrection, Christ visited those experiencing prison(paradise, purgatory) of the Fathers and preached to them the good news that heaven would now be opened to them (1 Pet. 3:19). These people thus were not in heaven, but neither were they experiencing the torments of hell.

Scripture teaches that purgatory exists, even if it doesn’t use that word and even if 1 Peter 3:19 refers to a place other than purgatory.

Christ refers to the sinner who "will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come" (Matt. 12:32), that one can be freed after death of the consequences of one’s sins. Similarly, Paul tells us that, when we are judged, each man’s work will be tried. And what happens if a righteous man’s work fails the test? "He will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire" (1 Cor 3:15). Now this loss, this penalty, can’t refer to consignment to hell, since no one is saved there; and heaven can’t be meant, since there is no suffering ("fire") there.

Why would anyone go to purgatory? To be cleansed, for "nothing unclean shall enter [heaven]" (Rev. 21:27). Anyone who has not been completely freed of sin and its effects is, to some extent, "unclean." Through repentance he may have gained the grace needed to be worthy of heaven, which is to say, he has been forgiven and his soul is spiritually alive. But that’s not sufficient for gaining entrance into heaven. He needs to be cleansed completely.

"nothing unclean shall enter heaven." From this it is inferred that a less than cleansed soul, even if "covered," remains a dirty soul and isn’t fit for heaven. It needs to be cleansed or "purged" of its remaining imperfections. The cleansing occurs in purgatory. Indeed, the necessity of the purging is taught in other passages of Scripture, such as 2 Thessalonians 2:13, which declares that God chose us "to be saved through sanctification by the Spirit." Sanctification is thus not an option, something that may or may not happen before one gets into heaven. It is an absolute requirement, as Hebrews 12:14 states that we must strive "for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord."

the unpardonable sin is to deny the Holy Spirit into your life, you have accepted Christ therefore you do not deny Him,at the time you denied Him it was unforgivable but when you accepted Him you no longer deliberately keep sinning read Hebrews 10:26,27

relax

take a deep breath and let it out slowly

now go all over and get that breath back-well you cant do it

Jesus says he puts our sins as far as the east is from the west to remember no more=Psalm 103

the sin you commited is only unpardonable if you die without asking forgiveness..

now you need be carefull of the sin unto to death-the believers version of that sin=to reject the guidance to repentance fromt he Holy Spirit-if we dont yield we die yet as the bible says saved by grace

and dont forget prayer and miracles in salvation it helped me=yes and I have prayed and seen miracles to deliver me

and i think many people even without prayer know in their heart Jesus rescued them-even point in fact as in the salvation message for heaven too when we believe.

many life saving even from the dead are recorded the bible old testament is written to the Jewish people and an example to the believers in Jesus.

but as in my life too-there is still truth and error-truth from the word of God as Jesus says and yet still get demonic influence too some tell of near death experiences for going into the occult and other things apart from the bible-Look at Jim Jones-throwing down the bible as saying anyone that believes the paper God leave-and then going to the cool aid death deal and moving the followers to South America.

Jesus said if you add to my words you will have plagues=Revelation 22nd last chapter of the Bible

yet in coming to Jesus it has helped me get heavenly insights too to protect my life, yet there are deamons as Jesus says coming as creatures of 'light'=the greatest protection is prayer-and to be forwarned is to be forarmed.

there is a fine line here-if we are talking about the life

this is how I came to know the way=

Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life, no one cometh unto the father but by me." John 14:6 some believe Jesus and others say they do and reject him.

this is what helped me see the issue clearly and know the Messiah as my best friend=faith/trust "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but my word will never pass away. and if you add or take out of my word you will have plagues/your name taken out of the book of life=Revelation 22

God is God and can do anything-even manifest himself in the form of a man-as promised-Isaiah 53 "He will be rejected and lay down his life to make atonment for our sins."

His salvation his death redemption for us-while saying Jesus was without sin born from a virgin to live pure and die for our sins

Like love your enemies as you love yourself

He also said "If you have seen me you have seen the Father."

this is how I as a Jew came to know Jesus too=as promised Jesus is God and gives good peace & gives good advice = Isaiah 9:6
"Unto us a child will be born, a son given and he will be almighty God, the wonderful counselor, and the prince of peace.

this is what helped me to prepare for life and my future, and it works=Romans 1 tells it comes from unthankfulness and worshiping the created instead of the creator. But redemption/salvation to be new in heart with new thoughts is available=

in Jesus amazing grace that saved me=John 3 repented of sins and got born again

He said to us "I love you and knock on your heart door, if you repent and turn quickly to me, I will come into your heart door and be your friend, and you mine if you ask me in. Revelation 3:19&20

so I prayed and it workedHe is my Messiah now savior and best friend= "Jesus come into my heart, I am sorry for my sins (even one lie) help be do better and be my friend, amen.

prayin for you Romans 1:16 unashamed of the truth to care and share the gospel, David and keep lookin up and you will never be let down =
Shalom/Salam in the prince of Peace, help others to think about life and death -and the gospel in Jesus of the story heart to heart

stay in the love of Jesus its worth it!
