Instead of throwing rice, I've seen people ring bells after a couple gets married. Does anyone know some poems that can be attached to those bells? I haven't been able to find any good ones!

Ours will say

"Ring these bells and share our bliss. Ring again and you might see a kiss"

They will be in a basket as people walk into the ceremony so I think they will get the point of them. they will also use them at reception to get us to kiss instead of clinking glasses. I don't want to pay for broken stemware. I wanted them to say "Ding Dong....Ring me and see the Bride and Groom get their kiss on" since I am not much for those little poems but fiancee won't go for it.....its a small thing to compromise on so I'll use the above one.

Mostly its due to rules and regulations. You can't throw rice anymore--its bad for birds. They won't let you throw flower petals b/c its littering. Many indoor places won't let you use bubbles. Just running out of options.

this would properly be an exceptionally good poem. i admire the place you're going with your poetry & the words provide stream to the poem, (the abbreviated words, "lin' la'", & "play ye ling ling" make the reader see the stream) you have your guy or woman voice now. Um one problem nevertheless: What does "Esto Perpetua" recommend? :)
