It definitely works! There are thousands of success stories. My brother-in-law met his wife online and they've been perfect for each other.
Almost all the sites allow you to post your profile for free. You only have to pay a fee, if you decide you want to connect with someone.
Be honest about yourself and give lots of details so that people who share the same interests as you respond to your profile. Be open minded and make an effort to connect with those your respond.
Once you've met someone that you would like to meet in person, plan to meet in a public place for the first time. Enjoy and relax! It should be fun!

yea it works..ive heard tons of stories and i actually met my boyfriend online and weve been together for 1 yr and a half. hes absolutely perfect for me i dont know where you live, but if your in ontario, i used meetmeinto.com..in my opinion online dating is really fun, you get to talk and get to know the person alot better without feeling like your being put on the spot. Then if the person seems interesting to you, and your ready to meet, then you switch numbers and so on and meet up..but i strongly recommend you see them on cam or something first because alot of people on these sites, steel other peoples pictures which is dumb but they re desperate. but overall i think online dating is really fun. i have met 3 men from online dating sites - all different ones. we exchanged a few messages, then phone numbers and then met - dont take too much time on any of those activities- if its not the person for you why would you waste more time on them. On average from first "i like your picture" or "you look beautiful" to meeting for drinks - not more than 2 weeks.

I meet my husband on line. We have know each other for 5 years been married for 4. We have 2 beautiful little girls now! I can work. I got very lucky!! There are some weirdo's on there though!
