Well Ifoster7... I've been a stock car racing fan since before you were born.
If you had a clue, you'd know that Na$car has become more concerned with revenue than with its fans since King Brian ascended to the throne.

Right on David b. I'm not sure what has happen to them but they sure turned into a low class outfit. I guess 7 years ago when the 6 billion dollar TV deal went down I had a feeling it might turn out the way it has I just didn't want to believe it. They sure don't care much for original fans and the newbies think they discovered NASCAR is what tickles me. How naive they are.

That's about right. Obviously, this guy hasn't visited LaidbackRacing and read some of the forums about the France empire. I'm not the least bit surprised. Hell... I've known for awhile now that all Nascar is about these days is the money.
I read that Official Nascar Members Club question and all I could do was laugh. I should have told him to go read some of Mad Mikes Rants.

It's just another example of how shallow people will be. But this is not the place to post that crap.
To ifoster, this has nothing to do with not caring for the sport, but everything to do with caring for it. This has to do with that this is the one place that we should be able to escape from having to deal with people trying to make a quick buck off of NA$CAR and for NA$CAR.
There's not a person here that doesnt love the sport, we just really dont like King Brian and we dont hate what our sport has become.

DavidB we have had this disscussion on other things occuring in NASCAR and always come back to nascars love of the almighty $$$ nothing they do surprises me anymore, unless it would be to actually do the right thing!
