It is much better to eat small meals throughout the day. You are right on by eating veggies, fruit and meat but just make sure they are prepared the right way, no fry. Eating small frequent meals will increase your metabolism and make you lose weight and keep it off. It will seem like you are eating all day but remember to keep them small. Keep a food diary of how many calories you eat to give you an idea of how much is the right amount. Depending on how active you are, you probably want to stay at about 1800 calories a day. Good luck and don't give up. Remember to make small frequent weight goals.

You should eat 5-6 small meals a day. If you eat only "3 square meals" a day your metabolism goes up and down and you burn less calories. It takes your body about 2-3 hours to digest the food you consume so if you only eat every 6 hours or so, your metabolism will shut down for about 3 hours in between meals. If you eat something small every 2-3 hours, your metabolism will continue to burn all day and you will get better results. I have lost 73 pounds in the last 11 months and I have about 65 more to lose and this way of eating has really helped me out. Plus you don't get super hungry between meals and over eat when you finally do sit down to a meal. Make sure to get plenty of water and fiber in your diet. I just read a book called the "Fiber 35 diet" and it says that for every gram of fiber you eat daily you pass 7 unburned calories through your bowels. So eating 35 or 40 grams a day will reduce your calories by 250-300 plus fiber makes you feel more full so you will naturally eat less. Good luck with your diet I hope this helps.

when you only eat 3 times a day your body stores extra calories it doesnt need in fat reserves. it better to eat regularly, small meals.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

u can use detox diets to loose weight .The detox diet focuses on getting rid of the harmful aspects of our everyday diet.detox diets will help u to a great extent to reduce weight and be slim.Instead of eating 2 - 3
meals per day, try eating 4 - 5 small meals per day, or 3 meals and 2 healthy snack meals.
Food substitutions can help tremendously when trying to reduce calories and speed up the metabolism.

3 healthy meals. Scientists are now finding that eating many small meals or "grazing" throughout the day can cause insulin resistance and work against you if trying to lose weight.

ITS HEALTHIER TO EAT THROUGHOUT THE DAY BECAUSE THAT WAY YOUR BODY DOESN'T STORE FAT. HOWEVER, THE AMOUNT OF INTAKE IS VERY IMPORTANT.!! THE SERVINGS MUST BE SMALL, AND EATEN THROUGHOUT THE DAY. DIETS WORK BUT EXCERSISE IS YOUR KEY TO WEIGHT LOSS!!! DO EXCERSISE CONSISTENTLY AND YOU SHOULD LOSE THE WEIGHT.
