Do they have taxes on these items in the uk right now?

Clothes,food,books,movies?

Clothes - Yes adult, no childrens
Food - Yes for food eaten in restaurants, yes for "luxury" food (Chocolate, crisps, biscuits, etc), yes for hot food for take-a-way, No for "basic" food stuff
Books - No
Movies - Yes

To date, only food is not taxable. Everything else is taxable. Movies have built-in tax charge already.
