I think what you choose to focus on makes a difference.
Also, what you say matters too - whether positive or negative.

Only if you know how to think about them properly. If you say that "I want happiness." Then although those words relate to your desire for happiness, what you are really telling your mind is that "I am not happy." You must have the opinion that "If i tried, then i could be happy." And then, you are telling your mind "I am capable of happiness." Treat you mind like something that is designed to serve you, however it does not understand language like you do, it understands your feelings rather than your intellect. So no matter what you say, or what you think, if you have a negative feeling, then you will never feel motivated enough to accomplish the task that you had in mind without a lot of "work", and few people have the right type of negativity that gives them "will power" (implicit in the word "effort" or "will power" is that there is something that aims to stop or hinder you from achieving what you have set out to do). The secret is that things like "success" and "money" and even "happiness" are very very trivial and easy to obtain, but our perception that they are very important and non-trivial makes them very difficult to obtain.

Not as a rule. But the odds are that eventually it will happen.
And then it will reiforce that belief, because you are more likely to remember the 'hits', rather than the 'misses'.
Such is human nature.
Same reason why people believe in Karma, prayer, dreams, etc.
Though all are imaginary, occasional 'hits' perpetuate the belief.

In many cases what you focus on will manifest in your life. First, because you're looking for it, you tend to find it and second because you want it you work for it. Also you may tell others about your desire and they help you out.

There's nothing supernatural about it however.

I think sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Like anything else. And it's just coincidence when it does. I've had it happen a few times that I've said I need something, and I just find it. But I'm also a total scavenger/curb shopper so it's probably pretty likely I'd find what I'm looking for eventually.

What you put out in the universe you get back.
It's supposed to be.

I dont really believe this tho, as who the heck would ask for a lot of the sh.t that happens in a lot of lives. There are a lot of people who put good ghoughts out there but get cr.p back.... so go figure.

Only if you are unconflicted about them. Everyone's learned ego is filled with unconscious beliefs and contradictions which is why peoples lives are chaotic. The multidimensional reality we are embedded in is responsive to consciousness whether we are fully conscious and self aware or not.

They must, because I've noticed when I think about somebody a lot, I usually tend to hear from them or see them.

I've been thinking about Beyonce for 5 years. She has yet to be in my presence. I let you know if anything changes, but don't hold your breath.
