Left to his own devices, this is certainly true of all mankind.
The problem is this:"There is a way that seems right, yet its pathway is far from the truth"

Sometimes I'm right, but I can be wrong
My own beliefs are in my song
The butcher, the baker, the drummer and then
Makes no difference what group I'm in
I am everyday people
Yeah, yeah
There is a blue one who can't accept the green one
For living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one
Different strokes for different folks
And so on, and so on and scooby-dooby-doo
Ooh, sha, sha
We got to live together
I am no better, and neither are you
We are the same, whatever we do
You love me, you hate me, you know me and then
You can't figure out the bag I'm in
I am everyday people
Yeah, yeah
There is a long hair that doesn't like the short hair
For being such a rich one that will not help the poor one
Different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby-dooby-doo
Ooh, sha, sha
We got to live together
There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one
That won't accept the red one that won't accept the white one
Different strokes for different folks
And so on, and so on and scooby-dooby-doo
Ooh, sha, sha
I am everyday people

I think so. I'm an Episcopalian, but I realize not all of my friends would be comfortable worshiping the way I do just as I might not be comfortable in their churches. Also, I wouldn't expect someone who was Buddhist or Jewish to be comfortable either. I feel like if the religion a person has helps him/her to find peace and be a good person, then I say more power to you.

Since no one has found a perfect religion (there are imperfections with every religion), all one can do is pick the best one for himself/herself and go on. I don't mind if people around me practice different religions - I have Christian, Jewish, and Muslim friends - just as long as they don't try to kill each other or convert each other, I'm good.

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12)
The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.(John14:6)
So to answer you question there is only one right way. Jesus is the on way that leads too heaven. If you have any other question go to my site.

I wish that it did. But unfortunately for certain groups it doesn't. I am pagan but according to them I have no right to my own beliefs. I can only believe what they do. It is all so very sad that they feel they must be this way. Someday perhaps these "groups" will learn but probably not in my lifetime. Blessed Be.

To *me,* yes, it does apply to religion. With the exception of cults, most religions are valid paths to God. I don't think one is any more right or wrong than another.

Personally, I hope we can someday prevent strokes, as well as heart attacks, and so on. That way we won't have to worry about all this afterlife nonsense.

If by that you mean that religion is merely a cultural phenomenon
and that a Japanese is more likely to be Shinto than Catholic, then yes. That is how it works.

Apparently, not.
I think those two words, combined with a look or two at some Christian posts, here and elsewhere will answer your question more fully than 6000 words here.
