could autism be an oxygen defeficiency at birth becuz i read where lefties are deprived of oxygen in the womb so their right brain battles for dominance instead of the left brain anyway and most autistics are lefty so plztell whether it's possibel or probable. i'm only in 6th grade so i doubt i'm right but i thought i'd get it out there

Great question. I appreciate the fact that you are concerned. Who knows...you may just be the Doctor to answer that someday. I found a link that has some questions and answers that you might find interesting. I have a niece and nephew (brother and sister) they both have Autism.
God Bless You

Actually, I read that lefties are exposed to more testosterone in the womb. I haven't heard the oxygen deprivation causing autism theory yet. Where did you read it?

I have heard that this was - in the past - often thought to be the cause of Autism. But it isn't, I'm pretty sure.
