I would recommend a book called The Abs Diet (link below). I was able to lose 45 lbs. in 6 months following this diet. Went from 36" waist to a 31" (now 30" w/ 6-pack abs). I've kept the weight off for over a year. It takes a big mental and lifestyle change. You have to stop thinking about food as recreation and/or comfort and start thinking about it as body fuel, no more, no less. Exercise is also very important. If you're a girl, don't expect to lose weight as quickly as I did. Guys can lose weight a lot faster, b/c we can build muscle mass more quickly thanks to testosterone. Good luck!

You can't lose fat from specific areas, it's impossible. The only way is to do general cardio and lose overall body fat, which will come from everywhere. But, a natural, fun, and cheap way to burn calories is to dance! Put on your favorite cd and just dance. It burns a lot of calories. Or you can buy some cheap workout tapes and do those. Also, take walks. Those are free, easy, and nice.

eat less and exercise more

learn to suppress your hunger by drinking lots of water
eating spicy food also tells your brain you are full

and if you are ever craving food,
simply watch the clock for 7-15 min, it'll go away

go on the yoplait yogurt diet
meaning, replace a couple meals with yogurt
it'll help you lose weight than just dieting alone

walk outside for an hour a day

i have lost 10 pounds this way

Well to lose fat in general you have to eat less sugar and fatty foods. Exercise like running or any aerobic activity will burn calories and fat. You must also add weight training to the mix and you will find quick results, but you have to do the work. Educate yourself about food and what goes into your body and you will find you can make great choices in the future.
Good Luck!!

eat better, exercise, the places you asked about are the hardest spots... for the back of your arms, a lot of 'pull-downs' find a lat bar and pull down. belly fat, probably lower belly... leg push aways, best with two people... lay on your back and with strait legs pull them both in the air your body should make an L shape. then have someone push them down, (they should be standing above your shouders). these work your lower ab's, somewhere situps don't really help, i would continue to do sit-ups as well though...

Cardio (at least 30 minutes a day), crunches and arm exercises (5-8lb weights for triceps, biceps and shoulders) along with lots of water, fruits, veggies and portion control should shape you right up. No pills...

omg, i'm trying to do the same thing actually. It's not really working for me because i keep slipping into unhealthy eating habits, but i do crunches, sit ups, and abdominal exersices,,,,and i haven't noticed any difference, i think the only way to lose the weight is to eat healthy, drink water and run.
