This is for humans not dogs, so I don't know how much it will help.
Adults: 250-500 mg twice daily- not to exceed 1000mg per day.
Child 10mg/kg in 2 divided doses. Your dog is 40.9kg so that would be 409 mg per day.

Call the vet and ask him how much. Don't take a guess from yahoo folks as they aren't going to know. Naproxen can quickly become toxic in dogs, so you really want your vet's advice on this.
I hope you aren't just trying to self medicate your dog without vet advice. That seems to be a common thread on Yahoo answers. Makes me glad we didn't let any of our pets be adopted.

The more famous you become in your career the more money comes in and the more weight you gain and the least you think about public and social issues. The equation is so simple and practical. My question would be Will we ever see a day when this equation would slightly change. As in the weight will be out from this equation compared directly proportional with the politician's career whereas he would be more involved in solving all burning social issues? " When is that day going to come? Will it ever come? Mr. Stephanopoulos hoping to get an answer from you?

You will probably get better suggestions if you would ask this on the pet section of answers, i would hate for you dog to get the wrong dose. Why didn't your vet tell you?

The vet didn't tell you? Then you need to call their office and find out. Your vet know his medical history and if he has any other problems.
