its just the juices fromn the sour cream mix the sour cream up and it wont be there anymore

it's caused by a separation of the cream and milk used to make it.you can pour it off if you want,but it doesn't do anything to ruin the sour cream.it is not old.sour cream is good for awhile after the pull date.if it starts getting mold on it,that's when it is old.

see as you may know sour cream is a dairy product ( like milk,ice cream,ect.) well dairy is made up from certain stuff so when you sit it in the fridge for a day or so ( still good) liquids come to settle but you can just stur its up for the best!!!! ~ best of luck with your sour cream CASEY lol

the only time you will see water in sour cream is when it is not fresh.to avoid it so soon,keep the lid tightly seald and read the experation date.
