Oh ya, blame God. Who would you blame if not for God ? Do you ever stop to think that the painful birth defect could be from some of your family getting married to their first cousins. Years ago, families would marry into each others families. It is called marrying within the family circle. This is why it says in the Holy Bible that the sins of the Fathers will fall upon the third and the fourth Generation of those who hate me. Read your Holy Bible and see what disease's are upon the Earth. The past sins fall upon us , now. Sounds like you are suffering too, not knowing what a true blessing is. There is not enough room on here to tell you about all of my Blessings, but one is that I have Faith. God has Blessed me with food, water, home, strength to endure all things. Wisdom to know right from wrong and to know who I should be Loyal to. Another Blessing is to endure all the blows dealt to me and then still be able to raise up and go on. A great Blessing is when I am in my deep, dark valley's that I can look up and see the Light. Not to stay in the Valley, but to climb back up to the top. Yes, God has given me many blessings. And then I always, give Thanks. I am grate-full to all that I have. Are you grate-full ?? I just found out that Orion , has suffered a terrible blow in loosing his beloved son. Is this Orion using a different name ???

On our journey through life, we all have to traverse the valley of the Cross on the way to Eternal Life.

For some people, and at certain times, that can be inconcievably painful to the point that it is believed that everything is ruined.

But for those who persevere in trust in God, God heals and restores all - not only that, He gives back vastly more than was lost in the first place.

Look at the book of Job to read an account of this where he was blameless, happy, and prosperous, and then lost it all due to the malice of satan (but with the permission of God) - he suffers horribly for a tiime, but in the end, far more is restored than what he lost in the first place, as the meaning of the story is that the crucifixion is the prelude to the resurrection, in that all who are destined to be saved must follow that way that Christ followed first.

No matter what anyone suffers in this life, Christ has had it worse - for no one ever has suffered, nor ever will suffer more than Our Savior (and Our Blessed Mother was second in this, in being second to her Son in holiness).

It is a principle of the spiritual life that the greater the saint that God intends to form, the greater the suffering that must be endured first to prepare for this - indeed, for some people this suffering can be of a degrading, humiliating, and seemingly hopless nature, but it is merely purification that has to pulvurize before it can restore - but for such people, that is a prelude to an inconceivably great glory and happiness, for the greater the crucifixion endured, the greater the subsequent resurrection enjoyed.

I was born with Anemia, asthma and horrible allergies, nothing close to you, i will say. An I'm sorry.

But I wouldn't blame god.

They say Everything happens for a reason.

I know, that right now you're probably saying My wife is gone for a reason?

It's mean when you hear people say Oh she died for a reason, or he was born like that for a reason.

But you never know.

This Cancer. Maybe you will meet someone who has it, and they catch it early. You could save them with any knowledge you know...you never know.

Your son. Well, one day that birth defect could be really good for him.

Maybe someone will see him succeed in something great and say "hey, this child has a birth defect, and yet he's incredible. People with birth defects aren't that different from us. Maybe, just because some people are a little erm...slower than others, well maybe they can still, run in professional races, or be in a normal classroom with normal teachers and ciriculums etc.

life is like a room. If you block all the windows, it's going to be dark, and gloomy and just unbearable. Youll feel confused because you wont know whjere to go.

But even if you just let a crack of light in, It's enough to get you going in the right direction..

What I'm saying is if you're negative, life is gonna suck.

I believe that God has blessed you but you are only seeing the cup as being half empty. When the cup is half full God has allowed these things to happen for a reason I do not know why but he only allows us to endure what we are able to. I would say that the birth of a Child with birth defects and the loose of a wife seems very brutal but it has been allowed to happen for a reason. Have you accepted Christ as your savior if not find Christ and your world will become better
Try and find the good in life and thank God for your Trails and your tribulation Thanking God for your trials will help lessen your suffering

I had a wonderful husband and together we had seven great kids. Blessed be the name of the Lord
My husband was killed by a drunk driver about ten years ago, and left me with five kids and one grandson to raise alone.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
My older kids pitched in and helped me.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
The pressure caused a couple of them to turn to drugs and alcohol, and that caused some serious problems for them, and for me.
Blessed be t he name of the Lord.
I have fourteen beautiful grandchildren.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Three of my grandsons died before they were two months old.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
And so it goes. This is but a small sample of the blessings I've had in my life. There has been unspeakable joy...there has also been unbearable sorrow.
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.
One day, it will be my turn...just as, one day, it will be yours.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

God created people, He does not GIVE people cancer or painful birth defects. Cancer can come from many places, most are from outside things such as the hormones that HUMANS have put into our food, from too much sun exposure and smoking, or second hand smoke.
Birth defects also have different origins, so why blame God?

God did NOT give you these bad things, they are just trials in your life like everyone gets. I don't like for people to blame God for bad things and say its his fault . God is no respecter of persons. He rains on the just and the unjust. These bad and horrible things in our lives are to make us seek him and grow stronger in him.I am sorry for the loss of your wife and I understand you feel anger. That is the grieving process. As for your child just give it unconditional love.God is blessing you but you can not see it now.

I cannot say that I can begin to understand what you have been through. Just as you could never understand my life. I didn't see His plan at first in my life either. God allowed me to go through things that were difficult in my life so that when people were going through the same things I was I could be a blessing to them.

If it makes you feel any better, God isn't the one that did those things to you...he didn't say, "Ok, I'm going to kill his wife and make his son's life miserable." Things just happen. And God knows they happen, but he isn't the cause of them. I'm sorry that's the way you feel. I'm sorry for you and your family. But at least you're alive, and your son is alive, and God loves you both.
