I rescued a very sweet dog. I touch her to the vet and found out that she has early stages of hartworms. Is there any organizations in texas that will help?

Try talking to the spca.org

I don't know where in texas you are, but they are located in the dfw area.

Otherwise, look for a local rescue group and ask them if they can help you with the dog. Some of them have deals worked out with local vets.

I don't know about Texas, but in Florida the Humane Society may sometimes help. I've adopted two dogs with heartworms and have had to treat them myself. A low cost spay/neuter clinic will sometimes do low cost treatment as well.

Take it to your nearest no kill shelter. They will get it better. They will probably also give you the first chance at adopting it if you wish.
