absolutely! You can add all kinds of ingredients to oatmeal to make it more delicious. We use brown sugar, honey, cinnamon-sugar, berries, bananas, applesauce, walnuts, raisins (both dark and light) and peaches....the list is endless..

If you don't like the packets that are flavored very well, and if you are not diabetic then you can add raisins, strawberries all kinds of fresh fruit. I make plain Quaker Oats then add flavored yogurt a pkt of splenda and promise margarine. It now comes in a new pkg with only 4 calories and it's very good. Just experiment and you will find many ways to improve your oatmeal.

Use 1/3 cup oldfashioned oatmeal. Add 2/3 cup water, 1/2 tsp. brown sugar, a liberal sprinkling of cinnamon, some raisins, and some chopped pecans. Microwave for 3 minutes. Add milk and enjoy. UMMMMM

I put sugar and butter in mine or by the maple and brown sugar kind this is the only way i can eat oatmeal but if you are on any kind of diet try using splenda, sweet n low or equal in place of sugar and the good kinds of butter also like i can't believe it's butter and so on.

Try some of the Quaker Oats Instant oatmeal flavors. There are several flavors and they're all good ... Cinnamon and Raisin, Apples and Raisin, plain Cinnamon, Raisin and Spice and my favorite ... Dates, Walnuts and Raisins!

Yes. Cook some sliced fresh peaches in brown sugar & put them on top of your bowl o oatmeal. Drizzle in a little half and half. MMMmmmmMMmmmm

BROWN SUGAR! and milk instead of water... even though the texture of oatmeal cant be changed this helps, i dont like it much but i can eat it this way!

I like mine with brown sugar and cinnamon. Maybe add a little raisins or dried cherries. You can aslo try sprinkling/pouring on some of those flavored gourmet coffee creamers.

I always put a good pinch of salt in with the oats then add brown sugar and what ever fruit
