has he had his vaccines for parvo virus? eating the wrong things will definetely do it. you may think you have taken everything out of his mouth before he swallows, but maybe not. has he eaten anything from inside the house, possibly a piece of a toy or anything you've caught him chewing on. get a kong, great toy, very hard to destroy. have you changed his diet in the last few days, without mixing in the new stuff over a period of about a week to let his intestinal tract get used to the new food? do you give him milk? he no longer needs it since he's been weaned, and feeding him cow's milk can cause diarrhea. do you have him on a premium puppy food? not the cheap stuff, alot of fillers.
has he been dewormed? are you seeing anything in his stools that look like spaghetti? make sure you have a stool sample checked at your vet because there are a couple protazoal infections in the instestines that could be going on also depending where he came from, how reputable the breeder is, etc. i'm only a vet assistant, but these are a few things to ponder.

Well let's start with the pet shop..did they not give you a health guarantee? If so, they would be paying for this and if not, file your expenses in small claims court when you are through. Coccidia is hard on the system and this would be a pretty normal reaction to the medicines, be sure the the 2nd vet know the other medications so that you don't get a bad mix. Distemper/parvo would have probably been the first thing that both vets looked for and did he have his vaccines before you got him. I'm not sure I would use a vet that the pet store reccommends but if you don't like the first vet then survey your friends, neighbors and co-workers to find another one or just go back to vet #1 if you liked and trusted them. Both of these illnesses are hard and long to treat but can be done successfully. Sadly enough you have just learned the main reason almost everyone here will tell you never to buy from a pet store or byb as the genetics and conditions they are raised in often creates sickly puppies. Good Luck!

You need to take it to the vet because he could have anything that causes diarehea. You could even be giving him the wrong food. Talk to the vet about what to feed him and stop the diarehea.

There are many causes of diarrhea. The two biggest are something he ate and parasites. Don't make fast food changes or give him high fat or spicy table food. Some dogs have food sensitivities and need a different type of food. They can also have bacterial infections. Ask your vet for advice. Recurring diarrhea is not normal.

He might have gotten into some soap or ate some different food. He also might be scared. Just make sure he gets water and doesn't eat anything strange. Do take him to a vet if this keeps happening.hope he gets better!
