The A610 is a fine camera, but it's not intended for professional photography. It has a small sensor and a permanently attached, consumer grade zoom lens.
You can get add-on lenses: wide angle converters and tele converters (by Canon and also by third parties) to expand your zoom range in either direction. These are great fun, but since all of these are also consumer quality, they will slightly degrade the final image quality. Stacking one average quality lens on top of another does not make for a professional quality lens. Kind of like bolting two lawn mowers together won't make a Porsche. It just doesn't work that way.
The official Canon tele converter is part number LA-DC58F. You'll also require part LA-DC58B (an attachment ring) to fit it on A610. You can find or order these at any reputable camera store. Together they should cost about $125.
For what it's worth, professionals tend to use (digital) SLR cameras in combination with a bag of +$500 and even +$1000 lenses. Insanely pricey stuff, but for pros it's a business expense.

I'm quite confused by your question. I don't really know why you would bother with changing the lens on this camera. For one thing it's not an SLR, which is meant to interchange lens. Your camera has a fixed lens and the only lens you could possibly attach is a teleconverter or a wide angle converter. Adding these won't make much of a difference to your image quality, it just increases the zoom range you can use. Your camera also has a small sensor, and it's not professional grade. Sure you can take great photos, but most professionals would have an SLR camera (which uses a large sensor) rather than use a P&S camera like the A610.
