Like Morocco?

Are you from the UK, because you definitly just termed all American's as "Yankees".

Who knows, give it another ten years it will be another country that's important and interesting.

here is an interesting fact though, Iraq used to be Babylon which has a lot of significant biblical history. It is said that the Garden of Eden was in present day Iraq.

The Yankees? I have news for you, most "Yankees" don't care about Iraq either. Most "Yankees" are democrats that want the military pulled out of Iraq. Think about it. Hillary and Kerry are both Senators from "Yankeeville" and they both want a pullout.

The only people that care about Iraq in America are from the south and Midwest. Look at the demographics. Republicans are pushing the Iraq occupation. The republican stronghold is in the south and Midwest. Don't blame "Yankees" for the incompetence of the President because you apparently have a bias against them.

BTW, I live in South Carolina so don't think that I am some "Yankee" sticking up for them. I just happened to be a little more informed of the political atmosphere than you.

I care about Iraq because my husband and friends go over there for 12-15 months every 9 months or so!

Maybe you could be more thankful for those risking their lives so you can ask questions like this!

I guess you dont care about the thouasands of americans killed in Iraq, or the americans seperated from their homes and families to do their service over there, despite whether or not they agree with the cause. But yeah, I guess we can just forget about Iraq, I mean the media could focus on canada and the canadian national curling championship or something. What do you mean there are more intresting countires?

There are more interesting places than Morocco too. There are more interesting places any where, every where, according to each individual. BUT....more dangerous to the stability of the middle east, therefore the situation of the world...few are as important! So like it or not, people are going to keep talking about it and you are going to keep hearing about it. It may be EASIER if you don't have to think about things like terrorist, bombings, dead Americans and dead Iraqi's but that doesn't make it less important.

Ya who cares, your right, actually no. Iraq's got oil, and oil I care about. I dont want to be spending $5 a gallon for gas. So if you dont care that's your problem. I will continue caring, and not to mention the war, and all our soldiers fighting, ya that. And I know that whatever I post your not going to CARE about, but I will.

I do, as the wife of an MP and Staff SGT in the US ARMY, I care about the Iraqi's terribly! I care about every human being, evil and good.
I am tired of hearing about it all, as it has consumed my life.... and may possibly take my wonderful husband from me...
I am hoping that you feel the same and that is why you asked the question... not because you simply dont care...

Not sure what else to say....

I think the spouses, family and friends of those serving their country in Iraq care very much

i care, and i am neither.

There are certainly 'more interesting' countries than Iraq that i would like to visit, but what is going on in Iraq now, and maybe Iran soon, and certainly in the US, has a profound effect on us all.
