ight here the thing when i found out i was pregnant and told my parents they were fine about it because i am old enough etc
but i noticed they started acting different like they were newly married(all cuddly n all that stuff) they were not really like that as much before and feels like i am having 2 be the parent in the house because they are always doing stuff like blarring music and things that people my age would do. n tbh its startin 2 make me feel out of place.
is that just there way of reacting 2 be grandparents?
this is there first grandchild they are in there early 40s

People in their early forties aren't old. So being cuddly with a spouse and blaring music aren't necessarily odd behaviors for people in that age group. And from what you've said, your parents seem to be very laid back, go with the flow types. (They didnt get mad when you told them you were pregnant and they seem to have been rather young when they had you.)

Also, there is no correct way for someone to act like a grandparent so give the 'rents a break.

They are the adults, have a life and are expecting their first grandchild!

You will feel out of place because you are expecting a child, emotional, live at home where you should be experiencing life and enjoying it like they are. Instead, you must prepare for parenthood and consider daily how you will provide this child.

There was always love in the house, little hugs and so forth. They are not old, your thinking as they are in there 60 or 70's. They will be wonderful Grandparents just wait and see.

My best guess is that they are now feeling free of being parents to a child and now are parents to an adult. They no longer feel that they need to be on their best behavior because you are no longer their "child". Your seeing behavior that they have kept on hold for as long as you have been alive.

Good Luck
