Are you deaf to the words of God?

Some limit their understanding of God and His power when they compare Him to what we experience on earth.
Don't underestimate Him!

For He is GOD.

He sustains all things by the Word of His power.
How does the planets stay in space, how is the right amount of space between us and the sun, in order that we can survive?

Think about all these things. There has to be a Creator for us to survive. Think about all the conditions, air, oxygen etc. which we need - how can all this have just evolved.

Please take time out to think about such things. Ask God to reveal Himself to you, personally.

Seek the Lord.
God's Word the Bible says:

For I know the plans I have for you says God. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
I will be found by you says the Lord.

I believe that God gives each and every person ample proof and ample opportunity to accept or reject Him! "For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16(NIV)

Although some may readily accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, even as small children, with little or no persuasion, others, like myself, for example, do not accept Him until later in life (I was 25). Even though I grew up, more or less in a Methodist Church, I never heard a sermon about the Blood of Christ! I'm not sure, to this day, whether the pastor of that church during most of my youth, is actually saved, *yet* (he later retired to my small, NE Ohio, hometown)!

My wife grew up as a very faithful Lutheran, and was even Luther League President at her local church; but does not consider herself to have been born-again until the late 1970s (in her late 30's).

One of my favorite Christian authors, Harold Hill ("How to Live Like a King's Kid" & "From goo to you by way of the zoo") was at least in his 50's when he became a Christian; Chuck Colson, Christian author ("Born Again", "The Body", and 36 others), "Breakpoint" daily radio ministry, and "Prison Fellowship" ministry, who was once known as Richard M. Nixon's "Hitman", was in his early 40's.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities -his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."Romans 1:20(NIV)

Judge's Strong Stand

A Mississippi judge who has been criticized for his stance on homosexuality says he will not apologize for doing what the Scriptures say.

Judge Connie Wilkerson has presided over Justice Court in George County, Mississippi, since 1996. Homosexual groups have filed a formal ethics complaint against him because he wrote a letter to the editor of The Mississippi Press stating his opposition to homosexuality. The judge says he wrote the letter only as a concerned citizen, and he is not concerned with his critics.

He says he voiced his opposition publicly, based on the third chapter of Ezekiel found in the Old Testament.

"Verses 17 through 21 [say] if I know the truth, which I do, and see the wicked committing a wicked act and don't warn him that he will die in his wickedness, the blood will be on my hands," Wilkerson says. "But ... verse 19 says if I warn him and he doesn't heed and he goes ahead and he dies in those sins, the blood's not on my hands."

Wilkerson, who is unapologetic about his Christian faith, says he wrote the letter in response to an article in the publication that mentioned homosexual "marriage." In the letter, he expressed his biblical view of homosexuality and belief that homosexuals should seek psychiatric help. He says one of his detractors suggested that he was being too judgmental.

"He said that I should have read the first verse of Chapter 2 of Romans, where it said that if you judge a fellow and then do that same act, you've condemned yourself," he says. "I would certainly want to be put in a mental institute myself if I even had thoughts of doing it -- that's where I'm coming from. I think if I was a gay person, that's a disease and I'd want to be put in some kind of a mental institute."

The American Family Association's Center for Law & Policy is representing Wilkerson. Attorney B.J. Brown says the judge has a right to his personal opinion.

"Those that see it otherwise are the true censors in this society, the true forces against the First Amendment and against freedom -- and we're happy to stand up with Brother Wilkerson," Brown says.

The law firm says Wilkerson wrote the letter as a concerned citizen, not as an officer of the court.

To my sister in Christ, Heir_of_Christ,
May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen
Hebrews 13:20-21
You Truely are an Inspiration and Blessed.

It makes me very sad to read the comments from the young people who are against God and religion. We have failed our children. We have allowed our schools to teach our children and pretended they were doing a good job. Not only do they not know about God, but they can't read or spell or do arithmetic.

Yes and thanks be to God!
Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do. Luke 17:9-10

The bible is not proof of God's existence for those who do not believe it is the word of God. Everyone has the right to believe as they wish. If your God were so grand he would understand that and accept people on the goodness of their hearts rather than what they believe.

Sadly enough too many don't hear God or hear Him when it is almost too late.He speaks to us clearly through His Word. He speaks to us through others. He wants contact with us and fellowship. Why do so many refuse Him ???.

The fact that you are referring to God as a "he" means that you are underestimating God.
God goes way beyond what the Bible teaches you.
