I`m a 15, I weigh 137 pounds and i`m 5'1, I want to lose 25 pounds by August 20, when school starts. I need help with a diet, exercise, and other useful information. Please please don't just tell me walk and don't eat a lot, i`m looking for specifics.

yea im 5'3" and 138 and 15. i know exactly how u feel. your best bet is getting a trampoline and doing dance dance revolution. go on the special k diet tht sorta works too. eat a lot of salad. eat smaller portions. like if your going to eat meat make sure its the size of ur palm. if ur guna eat a hamburger lose the bun. take small steps and you'll see results. works for me :)

Water, water, water ! 8-10 glasses everyday. You may feel bloated at first, but you MUST provide your body a way to flush the fat out of your system.

Into herbs? Try ...
Buckthorn bark
Licorice root
Ginger Oregon grape root
Capsicum fruit
Turkey rhubarb root
Couch grass Red clover flowers

Cut Out CARBONATION.
Even diet drinks trick your body into treating the bubbles like sugar.

Eat nothing white: No white bread, rice, pasta or potatoes. Easily digestable carbs turn into SUGAR which means FAT

DO eat breakfast. Think of your body like a car engine. You have to give the car gas or it won't go. Same with your body. Start that furnace burning as soon as you get up and it will burn more fuel (fat) all day long. (My husband lost 7 pounds in one month, just by starting to eat breakfast.)

Find an exercise program you LIKE. I don't care if it is Yoga, walking or going to a gym ... if you don't like it, you won't do it. Find something and stick to it.

10 minutes a day 3 X a week will tone you up. Muscle burns more energy than fat ... see above comment.

Learn to love you for who you are and don't be doing this because some idiot told you you were fat. Just remember that the women on TV and the models in the magazines are manipulated images. Real women have curves. LOVE YOURSELF and others will love you.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You have to go on a diet where you don't eat alot and try going on an excerscise program and don't eat a big breakfast but eat a small lunch and a small dinner and you should be fine.
