Am I the only one sick of seeing all these JR and Sr fans ragging on Jeff Gordon? Here's the facts
1) Yes Jeff will never be the driver Sr was because he raced in a diffrent era the Jeff did
2) Jeff admits that Sr was the one who taught him.
Come on! Grow up a little! Calling him gay because he wins alot is unnessisary!

I said Sr and JR fans because that's who I mainly talk to who call Gordon gay, and being where I am from and where I have traved in my little military career, most people are Jr/Sr fans. I'm just going with those experinces.

yes that does bug me too. what those fans dont understand is that they were both great racers in ther era. and when they were racing together, they were buddies and business partners. they did alot of things togethre. u know chase authentics(the brand that most nascar things are) was created by sr and jeff. ppl dont realize that they were friends. jr/sr fans hate jeff b/c they think jeff is going to be considered better than him, but he wont, he will be considered great in his era, as will sr.

I'm sick of these questions about Jeff Gordon being gay, but I'm sick of the questions about ANY of the driver's being gay. Give me a break, I'm not sure what the driver's sexuality has to do with how they operate on the track !!! I've never blamed those questions on Jr. or Sr. fans because, honestly, they aren't the ONLY fans making those remarks. Those kind of questions are just immature. If someone is going to make a remark about a driver not being good, then say because they crash all the time, or because they never finish in the top 35. Something legitimate, not "because they're gay"... All of the driver's do their best every week and should be commended for their efforts. I for one respect what they do. Takes a lot of talent to get out on the track and do what they do every week. Good Luck to everyone's driver's this week !!!

This has all been going on since 1993 when Jeff became a full-timer in the Cup Series. I don't know who started it, but it had to have been out of jealousy because he won so quick and so often. He didn't even win in his first full season. Junior will NEVER be the racer that Senior was. Senior may have taught Junior everything that Junior knows about racing, but he didn't teach him EVERYTHING that HE, Senior, knew. I really wish it would stop or that those who think that way would get a life. I'm not really a big JG fan although, I saw him in open wheel before he was lured to NASCAR. Even back then, people disliked him and boo'ed him because he won so often. Yes, I lived in Indiana from 1985 to 1995, and saw him win at IRP many times. He's just GOOD at what he does. For those who think he is gay, I'd like to know if your pink driving suit would be brown or yellow, or both, after a few laps. Get a life!

I agree, everyday there seems to be some wisecrack about Gordon being gay, or Jr. being gay, instead of relevent questions, and its old. No Gordon is not gay, yes Gordon and Sr. were friends, and Sr. was his mentor, no Gordon did not have an affair with Teresa Earnhardt while he was still married to his first wife. Gordon is a good racer, people may not like him personally, but calling someone gay is so 7th. grade.

Well, I am a Dale Earnhardt Jr and Sr fan. I dislike Jeff Gordon as a racer BUT I have never called him GAY. I have a neighbor who is a JIMMIE JOHNSON fan and he has repeatedly called Jeff gay. So please DO NOT loop what some fans say as what all fans say in a particular fan base. Do not blame it all on the Earnhardt fans either. There are plenty of other fans out there that cannot stand the guy as well.

That's the lame answer when they can't find fault in his talent. Most fans take racing more personal than the drivers. The drivers interact and are basically friends and know how to leave it on the track. We should learn to do the same. After all if you get to the point where you are willing to be rude about a sport you need to step away and get a life. If you're willing to fight or ruin a friendship you're taking it way too serious.
When we get to the end of life sports won't mean a thing.

Your right. Some people are just to hung up on a certain driver to face facts. Gordon and Dale Sr were not only good pals, they were business partners.

He is gay...... darn rainbow brite warrior
I'm not a Jr. or Sr. fan but I still rag on Gordon and Johnson.
I could rag on Tony Stewart and say he always looks as if he never takes a shower, but my 4 yr old loves Stewart.
Gordon fans have trouble accepting the fact about their favorite driver. It'll be ok though.

as a fan of nascar i do believe we should all show our respects to all the drivers in nascar. I'm a Gordon fan, and when Tony won the championship i was pissed but i still gave him props for his accomplishment.
