We have two dogs, and we clean up AT LEAST twice a day.
On top of that I clean up every time I see one do something.

Are you a poophead? You let the poo from 2 dogs sit there for a week before cleaning it up, and yet wonder why the smell is still strong? First of all, they should be walked so that there is no poo in the house. But if you do see poo in the house, clean it up immediately! Then use some type of pet-friendly cleanser to wash the area.

Cleaning up after your dogs once a week is not enough - especially in warm weather. You should clean up after them every day or every other day at the most. Also, you may want to look at the ingredient list for their dog food. If it contains corn or wheat - especially if within the first 4-5 items listed - you are not feeding them a good food. Corn will cause them to have a lot more stool and it will be messier. Look for a food that is meat based. Even though a better quality dog food may cost a little more, the benefits are that you will not need to feed them as much, there won't be as much to clean up, it will not be as messy and your dogs will be healthier!

LOL i can't believe you actually told everyone you clean it up once a week - do you flush your poo once a week? I hope not ... Just like humans, you need to clean up after your dogs immediately after they do it - and do put it in a bag and tie it so the poo doesn't fall out onto the street when the garbage is being taken away.

You better start picking it up every day before the neighbors file a complaint. Also, as it gets warm out, you will get maggots in the poop if it's left sitting there for a week or even a day or two. You pick it up, put it in a plastic bag, tie the bag, throw in the garbage. Or get a container with a tight lid, put a plastic bag in it, collect the poop for a week, until trash day, than throw it in the garbage.
I can hardly believe I have to tell people how to clean up dog poop.

Each week????? Surely you jest. 2 dogs at least 2-3 times a day at least is needed. I'm surprised your neighbours have not reported you to the health department.

You need to pick it up daily and discard it in a grocery bag in the trash can. I have 5 dogs in my backyard and I do this every day...there is no stench. Hope this helps but once a week just isn't cutting it.

hmmm, where are they pooping? We have a fenced in area, about 1 acre, 1/2 of which is wood chip mulch mixed with cedar chips. The cedar chips, which I toss all over every month, helps tremendously. Best I can do for you.

Mix one part chlorine with one part brake fluid and fill up a sprayer. Spray the whole yard, it'll take care of the poop smell for about 2 months
