I have not personally, but I work for Teen Challenge Uk, and head up a detox center in our female centre. I see women delivered from drugs and alcohol. Whom the Son sets free is free INDEED. I see it, I see the evidence. Many come back after many years and give their testimonies to the saving power of Jesus Christ.
Recently a lady called Tracy came back who is at Bible College, but was at our center about 7 years ago
and in her testimony she said that she does not even think or bring to mind that she was once an addict, what she meant was, that she is so totally healed, that it is a part of her life, which she hardly ever thinks about.
Our Manager's husband did the programme in one of our men's center 20 years ago, and is now a Pastor and powerful evangelist. He was in the gutter, and the LORD saved him.
These are just two of so many testimonies I could tell you of.

I've been delivered from alcohol but I don't remember any JC at those AA meetings.

No, but JC has delivered many "to" alcohol through the communion!

I knew a drug dealer named JC, but I don't think he delivered.

I don't understand why you can't be a pot head and believe in God, didn't god create herb?
