its not up to atheists to disprove gods non existence. we are not making a claim that something that cannot be seen is not really there!
it is the job of christains to prove that god does exist, they are the one claiming that which cannot be seen is really there.
until they provide this proof, god will remain non-existant.

faith is not proof, as you say it is a feeling and be discounted as irrlevent.
if u go down that road, does it make me right if i say i have faith that god does not exist and know it by my absence of any feeling of him.

You are making assumptions on faulty facts. For example, if you were correct then the more believers in a population would mean that the general health of that nation would be better than more secular nations. France a secular nation with a generally irreligious population has the most effective health service in the world. The USA, the most religious nation in the western world, has the 37th effective health care in the world, (look it up, stats by the OECD). Despite all of those prayers the irreligious French will live longer, will live longer without illness, will have less mental health issues, fewer divorces, less crime, have lower infant mortality, fewer drug problems, fewer abortions. My opinion is that you do not really know what logic is and that you should fully research a subject, getting all the facts, globally not just locally, before you go off half ******. Edit: well church attendances is a hallmark of being an active Christian and France it is 12% in the USA it is 43%. Surely you are not claiming that France is a more Christian country than the USA.

Actually, if Christians "proved" the existence of God, it would defeat the purpose of faith, wouldn't it? The whole Christian agenda is to have faith in God, remain loyal even though he doesn't show Himself or prove Himself to you.
I am an atheist, and I don't bother with proof of God. In my eyes, it takes a little faith on our end not to believe in Him. But, I do have my reasons, which are proof enough for me.
Also, I would never want to take something that makes people happy away from them. Why would I try to disprove something that have given so many people happy, healthy lives? Though religion wasn't my thing, there are so many people out there who are happier believing. Who believe that having faith is a gift. What kind of person would I be, to try to take that away?

I think this is a fair question: Give me absolute proof God does not exist.
I will add that Science has not proven everything but many believe in certain theories or gathering of facts. Is that not faith?
Also nothing is something so an atheist does not believe in nothing e.g. Big Bang theory and Evolution. I am not saying these are not probable causes but simply pointing out that in a way these ideas would be your "god' of sort.

I believe in God. However, I disagree with your statement that athiests try to prove God does not exist. This week I attended a funeral of an athiest and instead of a vicar or a priest a humanist conducted the service and I have to say it was the most beautiful funeral I have ever attended. Instead of wearing black we all wore brightly coloured clothes and instead of hymns and sermons, we had his favourite music and speeches from his friends and family, we were all laughing instead of crying from the things that they were talking about and remembering about in their speeches. The very last speech ended with a quote from Thomas Paine which I will remember for the rest of my life. "The World is My Country, the People My Bretheren, and to Do Good is My Religion" If everyone took that quote to heart and lived their lives by it, this world would be a far far better place,

Since a negative cannot be proved, there is no point in trying.
However, it may be possible to prove that some of the arguments and justifications and evidence presented by some faiths is wrong. For instance. the evidence for ID.
However, to those that believe stubbornly enough, no proof is strong enough to persuade them otherwise.

Sorry but when did anyone ever say that atheists HAVE to prove God doesn't exist?
Your question depends on a false premise.

U're right based on their concept. How can they even deny by the way it is structured in their scriptures that their doctrine only makes logical sense if u look at God, the devil and the angelic host as extraterrestrials.

Actually, as a Christian, it is up to God to prove that He exists.
Atheists don't have to prove that God doesn't exist. Christians don't have to prove that He does.
So, I guess that since I believe we are His Creation, at some points in each of our lives, I believe He approaches us and gives us the opportunity to choose.
