That's a really great question. I assume you are referring to all the killing in the Old Testament. Declaration of Corban, the dedication of everything in a battle to God (or whatever god was being worshipped).
So, you are right, if there was a bood promoting murder, hearing "that's the old part" wouldn't be acceptable to me.
There are all kinds of answers that could be offered about why the Old Testament was so bloody.
There certainly was a much blood shed in the New Testament.
Interestingly enough, the number of people who have been killed because they believe in Christ and would not renounce Him is greater from 1950 to the present day than from the beginning of recorded time to 1950.
So, I'm wondering if that makes up for all the blood shed in the Old Testament?

I honestly don't believe the yahoo monitors actually read the questions that are reported. I think they just delete anything that is reported.

i think of the priority is a controversy of attitude. there are a number of "questions" that are extreme of and ridiculing of Christianity, maximum of that are no longer deleted. I see very few questions approximately Hinduism in any respect.

To answer your question, NO, I would not. Are you trying to say that the Bible promotes murder? Then why does it say "thou shalt not kill"?
