I have a long haired chiuaua and it never seems like he sheds a lot. I would like to know if it is normal. Please help?????

Im sure if differs from dog to dog . our long haired chi doesnt shed or atleast very very little.

About the only time our long haired chihuahuas shed is after they have pups and that is due to the hormones. Our short haired ones shed much more.

Longer haired breeds shed less because their hair grows for a longer period of time before falling out. Short haired breeds hair grows only so long before falling out. So people. If you want a dog that doesn't shed alot, opt for a long coated or curly coated breed...

They do shed, but not as much as the short haired ones. It's a good thing! :)

No not at all hardly. I have 2 long hair and 2 short hair. The short hair shed much more.

Be sure to groom her regularly though to avoid mats.

Yes, it is normal to have them not shed alot! Look how the small the dog is and it is usually the short-haried ones that shed alot more.

I lived there for approximately 7 years at one time. i admire Georgia. the all of us is relatively friendly. ok, smart verbal replace is exceptionally troublesome to come again via, yet i admire friendly human beings. that's a competent initiate.
