Calling all dog groomers?

Question

I'm curious as to which dogs you hate to groom the most due to typical attitude and coat type? I don't like Schnauzers, Cockers, Goldendoodles & Maltese. Also, do you work at petco/petsmart or a private shop? I work in a private business.

I think its funny how much groomers hate chows. Our shop is the only one in the area that will do them since they can be VERY tempermental. Personally, I won't touch them, since i've had 2 try to bite my face off, I don't know why pitbulls get such a bad rep, the ones I've bathes are sweeties!
I hate poodle feet also.

hmmm I hate grooming chows because they usually come in matted and need to be stripped . . . and a billion hours and several dull blades later the owners are shocked that their dog is "naked".

Westies are not one of my favs to do because the ones I see never have round heads.

One of my girls HATES grooming yorkies because of their attitudes.

I like doing schnauzers, poms, malteses, and LOVE doing mixed breeds.

I am a true dog lover. I loves Schnauzers and Cockers, I have a Maltese and that little snot I hate grooming him, he will fight me the whole time. I can calm and charm almost any dog into letting me groom them, but he's a turkey on the table!!

I hate shaving poodles feet!!!! I groomed dogs for 7 years had my own business.

I know you asked for dog groomers only, but pray tell, I have two Maltese boys. WHY do you not like to groom them? Mine do not have the fancy cuts or the long hair thing going on. They have the short puppy cuts. This time I am having her shave their faces. They love the outside and go in their pool. They are a mess in the summer to keep clean. My groomer told me that the Yorkie & the Maltese are the two most ugly dogs in the world when they have their face fur cut off. I guess I will find out.

If you don't tell me, I will think about all night and my boys go to grooming on Mon. Please email me quickly and just drop a couple words and tell me why.........Oh, woe is me..........

Not a groomer but my groomer did not enjoy doing my border collie/retrier mix. She had a thick coat like a sheep. I think she was relieved when we started clipping her to reduce the amount of coat. That dog was sweet but a project and a half to groom.

I don't like chows.
and if you ever have to do a bedlington terrier in a show cut so time consuming.
