My mother has a barn cat that had kittens. She brought all the kittens to her front porch but then about 3 days later brought another kitten...this kitten shakes when it walks. It appears to be ok but has this weird shaking thing going on when it creeps around on the porch.
Is this something normal or should we take the kitten to the vet?
The kittens just opened their eyes about 2 days ago so I'm guessing they're about 2 weeks old.

Not all the kittens are shaking...just the little runt. And other than the shake, she appears normal. I'm sure my mother will take them to the vet soon...we just found out about them about 5 days ago when the mother brought them to the porch.

It's just beginning to walk. We were the same weren't we? When we began to walk we wobbled all over the place! It's the same with kittens. It's perfectly normal, don't worry. I think its cute :P

If only the one kitten is shaking.. take it to the vet.. if they are all shaking give it a week or two at most, then if they are still shaking just as bad. take them to the vet. Some kittens are born with an imbalance in the ear that will correct itself with age or will continue and cause serious problems. Myself I would have already had the kitten to the vet.

You should definitely have this little kitten seen. There are so many things that this could indicate... some sort of neurologic issue, low blood sugar, the list could go on. It is possible the kitten could be ok but I would err on the side of caution just to be sure.
