morning---
some coffee [with splenda]
a medium size bowl of special K
maybe sometimes an apple.

afternoon,lunch-ish---
maybe another bowl of special K
or a can of tuna [plain no mayo or anything]
an apple

snacks throughout the day are usually..
apples or canned peaches [NOT the heavy syrup ones]

dinner-
yet another bowl of special k usually.
or some grilled chicken [plain, nothing on it]

and if i get hungry at night, usually yet another apple, or some more canned peaches.


if i keep this up, will i loose weight? i'm not over weight i'm just trying to shed some pounds to look better for summer :]

oh and it's not bad having that much special k or apples is it?
as you can see those are my main meals.


be serious please!
and don't tell me to stop eating tuna because of the mercury or whatever, i know already!

special k is a fad diet - its not even the best cereal out there. Kashi cereals are the best i have seen so far.
i dont think you eat enough.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Thats a good diet, to me that is. But I say lay off the Special K a little bit. You don't need it for every meal, only for Breakfast and maybe a snack later on in the day. not every meal. It won't hurt you...But you might get sick of it, you know?
Apples and peaches are a great choice for snacks! Chicken is good too, because that has much much protein...But not everyday. Too much chicken, and it can give you like, cholesterol or something. Too much chicken is unhealthy...

well ya, its not the special k either, you could eat any healthy cereal and lose the same or more weight. so eat the cereals you like with the same amount of calories or less dont always eat the special k, you can but you dont have 2. they only say special k so people buy more of their cereal!! its fine you will lose wight b/c you r eating less than you normally do, and your eating healthy.

i did that same diet for a week w/ the special k and lost 2 pounds, i changed the cereal 2 Cheerios and i lost 4 in a week, so its not the special k!

excersize and lift weights!

probably not. okay i'm not an expert on diets, but this isnt a good diet. you're just eating the same things over and over again. and thats not good. i dont know what you should eat though, but why dont you ask a good, close friend? maybe they'll try to help you too
