Why are you asking this question five times?

Check your local shelters, you're bound to find a dog to love!

There is no such thing. You get what you pay for. If you want a good, well bred Maltese you are going to pay $600.00 on up depending on the blood line.

You can rescue a Maltese. It will be cheaper but you do not know what you are getting. It could have very expensive medical problems that will drain you. It could have major behavior problems. You don't know what the dog has been subjected to so you have no idea what to expect. Not a good idea if you have kids around. Then in the end you have to pass it on to someone else because you can't afford it or you cannot deal with the personality.

It certainly isn't the poor dog's fault but it takes a lot of money and time with these animals to make them whole again, if it is even possible. It is difficult enough to work with a dog that has nothing wrong with it..................

If yo are looking for cheapthen you are more than likely asking to get a dog with some kind of problem. My sister just got a 2 year old female. when she took her into the vets she found out her uterus was jaut aobut gone she had tumoors still waiting for the biopsy.
a $100 maltese has so far in a two week time cost her another $900 an if she has canceer may be more.
I'm sorry but if you cna't afford a maltese you probalbly shouldn't have one.
Good Luck with your decision.

In order to get a good condition Maltese,I'm afraid this will cost you,as Maltese aren't cheap and just remember if you do find one cheap, you sometimes get what you pay for.

I'm worried that you believe that all that you need to do is find a "cheap puppy" and you're all set. You are not. Puppies are expensive to take care of - vet visits, shots, training classes and the time that they will take. A "cheap puppy" can also cost you a lot, since chances are very good that the breeder has not taken care to check for genetic diseases.

If budget is an issue, consider getting a lower maintenance pet like a fish, mouse, snake, or bird. Even if the dog is cheap to begin with, you have to prepare to spend thousands during his lifetime.

A rescue organization. Google "maltese rescue" and see what comes up in your area.
