and why is it that every time a muslim says im going to do a certain act IT'S NOT THE RELIGION??
WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST WAKE UP TO THE FACT THAT ISLAM PREACHES VIOLENCE...this is unbelievable..
ALSO, for those who refer to the crusades and IRA and crap like that, the bible does not refer to violence. THE KORAN DOES, so which terrorist follows their religion, one that commits an act contrary to the bible or one that follows the Koran? BUT THEN AGAIN, EVERYONE ON YAHOO ANSWERS WILL ATTACK ME..IT'S COOL...
when your daugther/son/mom/dad/ OR YOU get blown up then i want to know how you feel about it...

Was "9-11" Peaceful ???
It is probably best - and fairest - to search the Quran for yourself; observe references to Jihad; ie. overcoming "infidels" (ie. non-muslims).
References to slaughtering non-muslims is far too extensive; best to consult a Muslim, or former Muslim, who will honestly explain what Jihad [in terms of fighting] is really about.
It had been explained to me, years ago, that it was no sin at all, for a Muslim to kill a non-Muslim if he did it to further the cause of Allah. Best to check with those who know, however.
A few quick examples:
[4.89] ...take not from among them friends until they fly in Allah’s way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them ...
[8:39] ...fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah...
[9.29] ...Fight those who do not believe in Allah...nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.
[2.191] ... And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.
Based upon the experience of your own - in the 21st century alone [ie. "9-11" and others] - apply common sense to draw your own conclusions.

The IRA and UVP were Christian. They killed each other and innocent people. Isn't Christianity a peaceful religion?
The violent are the exception, not the rule.
*edit* And you see people saying that they do not support terrorists all the time - why else would you keep on hearing Islam is a peaceful religion if Islamic people were't desperate to not be branded as terrorists by the actions of the extreme few?
Do YOU denounce the KKK every day? Why not?

I am Muslim and I DO condemn their actions, as do the many other Muslims I know and am related to. These 4 idiots DO NOT IN WAY WAY represent Islam. And Islam is peaceful if practiced properly. Get your information about religion straight before you attack ANYBODY.

Get the right information. SO, what about the Crusades? wouldn't that mean "all" Christians are terrorists in some way? Jews? Hindus? Every one is accountable for something in history....(probably not the Buddists...v.v) Anyways; it is not the PEOPLE or the TEACHINGS; it is corrupt individuals who change words around to selfishly better themselves and their group. Religion was meant to promote Love and enlightenment, and there ARE idiots out there who like to change around the word of God for personal issues. Don't you dare disrespect anyone because of your lack of sense. Grow up and face the fact that you do not have the one right religon in the world. For all you know, it can be wrong. You have no valid proof of yours just like everyone else...no b.s about "I know God" NO. You don't. You know of Him, but not what God will do to you or how things will work in the end.
